About Radar Monster
In December of 2020, the National Weather Service changed their
      https://radar.weather.gov

site to a new system that a lot of the public were not very happy about.
This even included some staff at the individual NWS Weather Forecast
Offices. Eventually, the NWS relented a bit and started providing an
alternative in the form of static and animated radar loops in the
      https://radar.weather.gov/ridge/lite/
directory but with zero instructions and zero actual user interface. It
might have been a good solution for their fellow staff who could now show
the radar images on their local office's web page, but it was hardly a
good solution for the general public who might not happen to have all of
their relevant radar ICAO codes memorized (I sure don't!).

Radar Monster is an attempt to bring a friendly user interface to the
chaos, by offering easy ways to find radars you're interested in, manual
radar loop controls, and coming soon, integration with
      Tornado HQ
      and
      Cyclocane
to show radars relevant to active tornadoes, severe thunderstorms, and
      hurricanes threatening land.
